Vaughan, Ontario
Wedding DJ at Terrace Banquet Centre
One of the busiest rooms on the Persian circuit in the GTA, and one of the most forgiving to light. The ceiling height is the reason: uplighting reads properly here instead of stopping halfway up a wall.

Room notes
Terrace Banquet Centre: technical
- Ceiling
- High, roughly 20 ft in the main hall. Colour carries the full height.
- Capacity
- Up to about 1,000 across the halls; most Persian weddings here run 300–500.
- Load-in
- Dedicated load-in door at the rear with a level approach. No stairs and no passenger-lift bottleneck. Budget 90 minutes for a full production build.
- Power
- Multiple 15A circuits available around the perimeter, plus a 50A service near the stage position on request. Confirm which hall you have: they are not identical.
- In-house sound
- House system covers speech adequately. It is not a dance-floor system and we bring our own for the reception.
- Curfew
- Typically 2am. Confirm with the events manager for your date.
- Lighting
- Perimeter uplighting works exceptionally well here. Thirty fixtures covers the main hall properly; forty if you are using a deep colour.
What to watch for here
- Ask which hall you have been assigned before planning anything. The ceiling and the power differ.
- The room takes a large dance floor without looking empty around it.
- Photographers like the height. Do not fight it with a low truss.
What we bring to Terrace Banquet Centre
A reception system sized for the 300 to 500 most weddings here run to, since the house system covers speech and stops there. Thirty perimeter uplights for the main hall, forty for a deep colour, a separate system for an aghd held on site, and a ninety-minute build through the rear door.
